Selection Process for assistant commandant 01/2027 Batch

There are different steps for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant which are given below for the candidate to complete the Physical Fitness Test and Aptitude.

Stage-1 Preliminary Online examination
Stage-2 Including PSB, CCBT, PP&DT Exam.
PSB (Preliminary Online examination), CCBT (Computerized Cognitive Battery Test), PP&DT (Picture Perception & Discussion Test)
Stage-3 There are group tasks, psychological tests and interviews for FSB (Final Selection Board).
Stage-4 Medical tests include
Stage-5 Indian Naval Academy (INA) and induction in Ezhimala.

Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik (Domestic Branch) CGEPT – 01/2026 & 02/2026 Batches

Indian Coast Guard 2025 Salary and Benefits

According to the official website, Indian Coast Guard personnel get competitive salary packages along with allowances and benefits.

Navik (GD/BD) Basic salary starts from Rs 21,700 up to level-3.
Yantrik Starting from 29,200 rupees, the rates go up to level-5.
Assistant Commandants Salary starts from Rs 56,100 up to Level-10.

Along with the official salary, personnel are given Dearness Allowance (DA) and allowances based on their duty and posting place, these amounts are given as per the prevailing regulations.
