As per the official portal, 10 people can get this job for Andhra Thanedar post of Forest Subordinate Service. Applicant who has passed or applied for (10+2) can only apply for APPSC Thanedar Recruitment and can apply from 11 September 2025 to 1 October 2025 11:30 PM all over India. As per the official portal, the age limit of the applicant should be between 18 to 30 years.

APPSC Thanedar 2025 Eligibility Criteria
All applicants for Police Station Officer Posts should apply online, apply for the official notification, ensure physical presence, as well as get the main educational qualification certificate.
Educational Qualification:
It is necessary to have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent. Applicants with higher qualifications will also be given relaxation.
Physical Presentation:
- Minimum height for men should be 163 cms and minimum height should be 84 cms (5 cms more).
- Minimum height for women should be 150 cms and minimum height should be 79 cms (5 cms more).
- Relaxation Applicable: For Gorkha, Scheduled Tribe, Nepali Northern Communities
Endurance Test:
- Male should be able to walk 25 Kms in 4 hours.
- Female should be able to walk 16 Kms in 4 hours.
Age Limit: Normally Minimum 18 years, Maximum 30 years (5 years relaxation will be given for BC, Economically Weaker Section, SC, ST etc.).

Selection Process of APPSC Thanedar 2025
The main process consists of written exam, physical ability test, medical examination and bonus marks to NCC certificate holders.
Written Exam
Qualifying Test: Essay on Forest and Environment (50 marks in 45 minutes).
- Paper 1: General Studies and Mental Ability Total 100 marks
- Paper 2: General Science and General Mathematics Total 100 marks (for SSC level).
- Negative Marking: 1 to 3 marks will be deducted if any wrong answer is given.
There will be a physical walking test which will be a qualifying test.
Medical test will be conducted by the Medical Board.
Selection will be final on the basis of written marks and bonus marks (NCC certificate holders only)
APPSC Thanedar Salary
Rs.20,600 to Rs.63,660 is the pay scale of A.P. Forest Subordinate Service for this post, allowances will also be given as per Govt.
