Eligiblity for Physical standard Test
For Male Candidates – For male candidates of the UR, OBC, and SC categories, the height should be 168 cm and the chest measurement should be 79-84 cm. For male candidates of the ST category, the height should be 160 cm and the chest measurement should be 77-82 cm.
For Female Candidates – For female candidates of the UR, OBC, and SC categories, the height should be 152 cm and the weight should be at least 40 kg. For female candidates of the ST category, the height should be 147 cm and the weight should be at least 40 kg.
Physical Efficiency Test
For Home Guard UP Police Recruitment 2025, male candidates will have to cover a race distance of 4.8 km. They will be given 28 minutes for this. Female candidates will have to cover a distance of 2.4 km in 16 minutes.

Selection Process
Home Guard UP Police Recruitment 2025 selection process will be conducted in 6 phases-
- Written Examination – In the 1st phase, there will be an Online Written Exam, which will include questions from Maths, Reasoning, and General Awareness. Candidates who qualify this exam will get a chance to move to the 2nd phase.
- Merit List – After the written exam, a merit list will be prepared based on the candidates who qualify.
- PET – The students selected in the merit list will undergo the PET exam, which is the Physical Efficiency Test, where the physical examination of the students takes place. Candidates who qualify this phase will get a chance to appear in the PST, which includes examination of height, weight, and chest.
- PST Test – After the PET, there will be the PST (Pre-Standard Test) which includes tests like running, jumping, etc.
- Document Verification – After clearing all these phases, the applicant will undergo document verification, where all important documents of the candidate will be checked, including qualification documents, identity documents, etc.Medical Examination –
- Medical Examination – The candidate’s medical examination will be conducted at the very end. After this process, UPPRPB will select the candidate.
